545 Velo kicked off the ‘cross season in a big way, with some strong podium results in the cat4 fields and solid results in the masters and elite fields as well. Jerry DeZutter powered his way to two victories on the same day in both the cat4 field and the cat4 45+ at Quad Cross on Sept 11 – he was too busy winning races to even get up on the podium for the photo op! Other notables at Quad were Matt Mitchell, who was 21st in the men’s Elite race, and Chet Geschickter, who was 12th in the 1/2/3 45+ field.

More recently at Sucker Brook Cross on Sept 25, Jay Clevenger worked his way onto the 2nd step of the podium in the cat4 field (photo above). Sean Williams and Rich Olivier also had strong showings on the day, finishing in the top half after being staged near the back. Good showing guys – keep up the good work!
